The pump truck is a 30 meter pump that requires a minimum of 20mpa (3000psi) concrete to use. An additional ¾ yard (0.6㎥) is required to prime the pump. The pump truck is 24’ wide x 40’ long when it is all set up and takes 1.5 hours to set up, takedown and wash out. The pump can reach up to 90’ off of the front and up to 180’ when line pumping.

Recommended Strength
What does MPA or PSI mean?
Concrete is measured by its strength capacity. MPa (megapascals) is the metric measurement for psi (pounds per square inch).
The BC Building Codes require a minimum MPa for specific concrete projects. Please refer to the table to choose the appropriate MPa when calculating your volume and price.
BC Building Code Recommended Strengths
Footings, walls, foundations – 20-25mpa ~ 3000psi - 3500psi
Interior flatwork – 25-30mpa ~ 3500psi - 4000psi
Garages, carports – 32mpa ~ 4500psi
Exterior flatwork – 32mpa ~ 5000psi
